Hello! My name is Vanessa Beard and I am Graphic Designer and Illustrator with a BFA in Visual Communications from The University of Texas at Arlington.

I have been a creative person my entire life. I share my love of art with my mother who has a Fashion Design Degree from UNT. I remember her involving my sisters and I in her many arts and crafts projects. One of my favorite memories is when we used the herbs from her herb garden and used them in making our own paper. My mother says that I drew my first lines at 8 months old and as I got older I found myself drawing every chance I had. When I discovered that I could bring these drawings and other ideas to life digitally, I was hooked. Illustration is my first love, but my education has taught me that I can have more than one. I enjoy branding, packaging design, and mobile app design just as much.

In addition to my love of creativity, I am a collector of Funko Pops, love hiking and exploring while taking pictures along the way, have never heard a cheesy joke I didn’t like, and love road trips.
